News About Your Colleagues

At Barton County Community College, Lori Crowther has moved from the Director of Admissions to the Director of Enrollment Services. Gwen Martin is the Admissions/Enrollment Services secretary, and Shanda Cape, Lisa Peterson, Nancy Carter, and Cynthia Collier are all specialists in the Enrollment Services Office. Christine Carbaugh left Ottawa University to pursue a career in social services, and Lisa Fitch, a 2000 Ottawa graduate, begins work at Ottawa University on June 1. Lanette Stineman will be promoted from Associate Director of Admissions to Director of Admissions at Ottawa University on May 15. Joe Hood began working as an Admissions Representative at Baker University in December. Joe is a 1996 graduate of Baker. Lisa Pinamonti joins the KU Office of Admissions and Scholarships as Assistant Director in charge of on-campus programs. Neal Hoelting, Community College Coordinator for Wichita State University, plans to marry Vicky Carter on October 21. Melinda Roelfs, Pittsburg State University, and her husband Kiley announce the birth of their son Drew Franklin Otto Roelfs on February 8, 2000. Kim Beeler, Associate Director of Admissions and Scholarships at the KU, and her husband Burke, announce the birth of their daughter, Quincy Paige Beeler on January 3, 2000. Kim will be taking a year leave of absence and will return to admissions in 2001. Chris Laidlaw resigned as Admissions & Financial Aid counselor at McPherson College effective February 28, 2000, to return to his home state of Michigan and pursue a career in teaching. Michelle Gildehaus joined the McPherson team as an Admissions & Financial Aid Counselor on March 27, 2000. Jenny Hargett will be leaving Garden City Community College in mid-May. Jenny and her husband are relocating to Topeka.
