Here’s what’s
new with your KACRAO Colleagues:
Monica Griego has been promoted to Assistant Director
of Admissions at Newman University. She takes the place of Kurt
Stanley, who is no longer at NU. Marcus Hicks joins
the admissions staff there as a counselor. Welcome Christina
Hurtado, Joe Leonard and Pat Duncan to the
admissions staff at Pittsburg State University. Heather Eckstein
and Melinda Roelfs have been promoted to the position
of Assistant Director of Admissions. Butler County Community
College Registrar’s Office has added several new faces.
Mandy Nobel is their new transcript clerk, Rita Luna
is their new transcript analyst, and Connie Craft has
joined the BCCC team as the new Registrar. Tanna McKee
has left the Southwestern College Admissions office to be a full-time
mom to Katlyn and Tyler, and Leslie Grant has been hired
to replace Tana as an Admissions Counselor. Paul Homan
has been hired for a new position of Admission Financial Planner.
Dianne Mitchell has been hired as the new recruitment
planner, replacing Leslie Grant, and Michelle Howard’s
last day at Southwestern College was just before Thanksgiving
Break. Barton County Community College has added two new people
to the Registrar’s Office, Lisa Peterson as Records
Manager, and Cynthia Collier as Records Data Processor.
Kirstin Funk left her position as Director of Admissions
at Pratt Community College, and Lynn Perez has taken that
position. Melissa Lanpher, PCC Admissions Representative,
returned from her honeymoon and and joined the staff during the
week of KACRAO. Joshua Thomas Werth was born to Christine
Werth, the Assistant Registrar of Newman University, on August
28, 1999. Mike Crow has joined the Kansas State University
Registrar’s Office as Assistant Registrar. Jeff Shirley
has joined the Hutchinson Community College staff as an Admissions
Counselor. Kale Kroupa and Randy Mudge have been
joined the Wichita State University team as Admissions Representatives,
and Michelle Stafford is the new Community College Coordinator.
Kristina Clevenger is the new WSU Campus Visit Coordinator,
Tisha Cannizzo is the new Assistant Director, and Sheri
Littleford is the new Program Coordinator. Sterling College
has added two new staff members: Misi Smith, as an Admissions
Counselor, and Connie Garrett as the Campus Visit Coordinator.
Kara Veverka is the new admissions representative for
Pratt CC. Debbie Staab of Fort Hays State is a new mom
to Audrey Renee on Sept. 17, and Joey Linn and his wife
are expecting their third child in April. Welcome and congratulations
to all!
