The Lighter Side
Christopher Hett

Yep, it's 2001 already. Can anyone believe it? Are you all looking back at the fall semester and thinking any of these things…

1. Gosh that semester went by fast!
2. Is traveling Kansas always that much fun?
3. Where the heck is my issue of the KACRAO Current?

Well, I thought about all three of those things just recently. It's amazing how a little thing such as the birth of your first child can completely consume your life. Anyway, I make no excuses…ok, other than that one…for why I didn't get some news out to you sooner. Hopefully, now that the late nights aren't quite as bad and the doctor's appointments are slowing down, I will be able to help keep all fellow KACRAOans better informed with timely newsletters.

On another somewhat related note, if there is anyone out there who would like to help the committee out as we get to the heart of the many stories that are out there, please contact me at chris.hett@wichita.edu. The world needs great writers and we are doing our best to expose more to you all.

Well, obviously this went from being the "lighter side" to begging for forgiveness and an open plea for committee members. Stay tuned for more side-splitting humor in upcoming issues.

The KACRAO Current is published five times a year and is a member-written, member-published newsletter of the Kansas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.
