EEO Committee Plans for Upcoming Year
Melinda Roelfs

The EEO Committee met Nov. 27, at Bethany College. The committee is excited about some of the initiatives they are looking to implement this year, to better serve the KACRAO family.

One initiative will be to put the Minority Scholarship Booklet on the KACRAO home page. This will make access to the booklet more convenient for institutions to update their scholarship information and also increase convenience for those students and counselors who need the information about scholarship opportunities.

The committee is also looking to have a link on the KACRAO home page that would go to an EEO page. This would provide the association with information and web sites concerning equal opportunities in education. The page would also include a calendar of events of recruitment opportunities that are specific to minority populations.

These are a few of the initiatives and activities the EEO committee is planning to tackle
this year. Read future KACRAO Currents for updates on progress.
