What
have been your favorite memories of being a member of KACRAO?
My first annual conference will always be a favorite memory.
Being on the job for two days, then attending the conference....what a way
to start a career! So many fun memories....especially the bus ride!
Actually, each of
the conferences have been great, and have provided many fun memories.
To pin it down to a few is hard to narrow. Definitely, one of my
favorite memories has been being a part of the KACRAO Conference Golf
Tournament CHAMPIONSHIP team in each of these years! (We were robbed
one year!)
How
has KACRAO assisted you in your professional development?
First, the annual conference provides you with so much good
information. From the sessions themselves, to the networking
opportunities, to the late night info sharing, it's invaluable!
Second, from the contacts and many friends that you meet, it provides you
with endless resources, contacts, and lasting friends. Third, from
the examples set forth by so many outstanding people in our organization,
it provides you a role model and enthusiasm to assist you in being the
best at your profession.
What
is your advice to your fellow KACRAO members and colleagues new to the
profession?
Be
the best at whatever you do. If you do your best, then you will
succeed in life. In turn, you will make yourself invaluable to your
employer.
In regards to the KACRAO
organization, GET INVOLVED! There are SO many benefits by getting
involved, whether it's meeting new people, sharing ideas, or joining a
committee to make a difference in our organization. Besides,
it more fun to be in the middle of things, than to sit on the sidelines! |
