The annual conference always provides great memories...it is a time for team building with our own staff as well as for reconnecting with colleagues throughout the state. We always have a great time! How has KACRAO assisted you in your professional development? The colleagues provided through KACRAO have taught me so many things. I grow as a professional through my contact with them and through sharing of ideas and information at our annual conference. I have also become involved in AACRAO which takes this development to the next level. What is your advice to your fellow KACRAO members and colleagues new to the profession? My advice is to really take the time to learn about the profession as a whole rather than just one part of it. There are so many facets and professionals often become specialists in one area but don't take the time to at least be a generalist in other areas. Becoming involved in KACRAO is a great way to begin this.
