Corporate Public Affairs Manager - Spirit Aerosystems

Brian A. Black serves as the Corporate Public Affairs Manager for Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. In this role he manages the budget for corporate contributions, community partnering, employee volunteerism and response to needs in the community.  In addition he provides government relations support. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in business from the University of South Carolina. 

Mr. Black has received numerous awards and accolades including the A. Price Woodard Humanitarian Award and the Kansas Health Foundation and the Kettering Foundation Fellowship. 

Mr. Black’s community involvement includes: Sedgwick County Juvenile Justice Advisory Board; Wesley Medical Center Board of Trustees, Wichita Community Foundation Board of Directors, Knight Foundation Advisory Board, Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas Board of Directors and the Governor’s Advisory Board on Juvenile Justice and others.

Mr. Black is a member of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity Alpha Nu Boule' and St. Mark United Methodist Church.
