Please join your KACRAO colleagues and honored guests in Garden City on September 24-26, 2008. Grab your khakis, safari hat and binoculars and climb aboard the Land Rover, head west and “Walk on the Wild Side” where “We’re Not Safari Away!”

  "Zoofari" Experience
    9:30am - noon (FREE)
    Walk on the Wild Side with a visit to Lee Richardson Zoo.  You might look eye-to-eye with an owl, have a chance to touch a snake, and see why they say that an elephant never forgets.  Come for an "edZOOcation" program and stay to walk through the zoo at your own pace.
  The "Serengeti" Activity
    9:00am (FREE)
    Disc Golf Tournament on the GCCC campus.  Prizes will be awarded.
  GCCC Campus Tour
    Tour begins at 10:00am from the Student and Community Services Center.
  Tour the Windsor Hotel
    8:30am ($5.00 charge per person)
    Known as the "Waldorf of the Prairie" it's a grand hotel from another century in downtown Garden City.
  KACRAO Golf Tournament

Also available during the conference Tuesday through Friday:
 

  • Schedule an appointment at the Desert Oasis Spa (also known as the GCCC Cosmetology Department) for a manicure ($6.00), pedicure ($8.50) or a machine facial ($8.50).  Appointments are available from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. by calling 620-276-0400.

  • Courtesy passes will be available to the GCCC “Wildlife” Aerobic Super Circuit located in the Dennis Perryman Athletic Center on the north side of the GCCC campus.  You may use the facilities for your work out from 5:45 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. during the conference.

Early Registration is $90.00 through September 1 and $100.00 beginning September 2.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER SEPTEMBER 15.
